BTW Americans, Happy Fourth of July!
Happy Birthday to Alfred F. Jones to all you Hetalia fans out there too~

Oh! Yeah, the hit list too! This one's easier. >= D

1. Hojo (FFVII) -- I don't think I need to explain myself here.
2. Mayuri Kurotsuchi (Bleach) -- His daughter is a TEXT BOOK case of abuse, he's sick, disgusting and I think they'd be better off without him.
3. Sasuke Uchiha (Naruto) -- He just needs to die, sorry Naruto.
4. Vergere (Star Wars Books) -- Because she's an evil witch with dark side tendancies and sith training trying to pass herself off as good while the universe is dying. Somehow she managed to get higher than all the other bad guys from that universe...
5. Light Yagami (Death Note) -- Genius with a God Complex that decides he has the right to choose who lives and who dies.
6. Delores Umbridge (Harry Potter) -- Fat, pink toad that manages to get me seething every time she appears in the books.
7. Xehanort (Kingdom Hearts) -- After what he did to Terra (not to mention Ventus and by proxy Aqua)...yeah, can't stand this guy.
8. Jacen Solo (Star Wars) -- I can't stand traitors.
9. Shou Fuwa (Skip Beat!) -- Superiority complex, good looks and a nasty attitude that likes to get him to walk all over people and use them for his own ends. After the valentine's day fiasco in the manga I've joined a lynch mob dedicated to him.
10. "The Beagle" (Skip Beat!) -- Because he doesn't deserve a name. I don't WANT to know what goes through this guy's mind. *shudder*

Top Ten Fav characters: (This one is hard as I find it difficult to only choose 10)
1. Hollow Ichigo (Bleach) -- I've been trying to figure out why I love this guy so much. He's insane, creepy, and kind of evil...truthfully, I can't figure it out. I don't even think he's hot. *scratches head*
2. Death (Diskworld books) -- He's HILARIOUS. I mean come on, he takes over for Santa Clause, plays peanuckle and likes to cook...and he's DEATH.
3. Kenshin Himura (Rurouni Kenshin) -- One of the only characters where if I had three words to describe him I would choose "Adorable" and "Frikin' Scary".
4. Mara Jade Skywalker (Star Wars Books) -- Because she kicks butt and takes names. Oh, she's entertaining too. ;)
5. Zack Fair (Final Fantasy VII) -- What, he's a puppy! Alright, I love that despite the fact that he works in the elite of a corrupt company, he's still sweet and energetic to the end. The price of freedom is steep.
6. Ling!Greed (Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) -- I think I have a thing for alternate personalities. ^^;
7. Yashiro (Skip Beat!) -- Again, he's hilarious and entertaining. His facial expressions crack me up.
8. Nunzio and Guido (Myth Adventure Series -- Books) -- I put these two together because they're rarely seen without each other. They're your typical mob thugs in a magical world...except they're not. And I find that too funny.
9. Hinata Hyuuga (Naruto) -- Okay, here's the inner girl in me making itself known. She's freaking adorable! She's also loyal and determined and brave (and I will defend that last one to the end!)
10. Daisuke/Dark (DNAngel) -- Yeah, my alternate personality obsession is showing again. At least both of these guys are good (and adorable)

1. Hong Kong (Hetalia) {I don't know why, but I have an odd attachment to him..}
2. Fujishiro Nageki (Hatoful Boyfriend) {He's so adorable, being an awkward bookworm, and his story is very well written. Did I mention he's a talking pigeon?}
3. Barry (Pokémon Diamond and Pearl) {Genderbent Pinkie Pie, anyone?}
4. Rarity (My Little Pony FiM) {Dat singing voice.}
5. Fluttershy (My Little Pony FiM) {How can you not love her?!}
6. Canada (Hetalia) {Same for Fluttershy.}
7. S. Korea (Hetalia) {He's just like me.}
8. France (Hetalia) {Everyone bags on him for some reason. He's not even a rapist, with the exception for England.}
9. Silver (Pokémon Gold and Silver) {He may have been an asshole, but he's a tsundere asshole.}
10. Discord (My Little Pony FiM) {Hey, if this guy can break a friendship that took an entire season to establish in one go, that's pretty fucking impressive.}

1. Bella Swan (Twilight) {Sorry, but everyone being infatuated by a "plain" girl just doesn't work.}
2. Edward Cullen (Twilight) {Dammit, at least Jacob was there for her when Bella wanted to jump off a cliff.}
3. Queen Chrysalis (My Little Pony FiM) {Hey, at least Discord had a good excuse, being the being of Chaos and Disharmony, and you could feel a little bad for him bring sealed in stone, but Queen Chrysalis... Geez.)
5. Cuba (Hetalia) {The same reason all the other Canada fangirls hate him.}
6. Annoying Orange (Annoying Orange) {Dude, if the main character can get on the viewers' nerves, then you have a problem.}
7. Whitney (Pokémon Gold and Silver) {Milktank. MILKTANNNK.}
8. Rigby (Mordicai and Rigby) {At least Mordecai goes, "Dude, that's so stupid" before he does something idiotic.}
9. Iwamane Shuu (Hatoful Boyfriend) {In the words of Angie, "DAMN FAT BIRD".}
10. Turkey (Hetalia) {It's not that I hate him directly, but I don't really fangirl over him at all, while I do that with everyone else.}

1-6 are Hetalia (I have more that exceed the others from other animes but I don't wanna look like that all I watched and stuff.. Like there's America, South Korea, China, Russia, etc )
1. Norway (I just find him quite cute and funny with his actions AKA Pulling Denmark's tie, etc)
2. Iceland (Very adorable~)
3. Romano (Because he's just so adorable when he's all tsundere and in denial~!)
4. Canada (Also adorable~)
5. Prussia (He's awesome..)
6. Romania (I like the whole idea of vampires that DON'T sparkle)
7. Sasori (Naruto) (He's awesome with the whole puppets, impatient and the way he calls Deidara a brat is awesome)
8. Near (Death Note) (I love how he's smart, cute, albino-ish and the fact he's emotionless is awesome~ I seem to like guys like him (Norway, Iceland, Sasori, etc) or guys that are tsundere (Romano, etc) )
9. Hungary (Hetalia) (She's awesome, tomboyish and when she and Prussia were small, pretty hilarious with the 'I'm a boy!', 'We men need to stick together!', etc. And the fact that she wields a frying pan and can scare men is pretty awesome!)
10. Temari (Naruto) (Epic, bad@$$, giant fan wielding kunoichi. She's awesome and not afraid to back down from a challenge!)

Least Favorites:

10. Shinatty-chan (Hetalia) (The idea of China hugging an old man with a hello kitty head isn't a very pleasing thought)
9. Haruka (Uta no prince-sama) (Too mary-sue, 6 guys fell in love with her, etc.. Other wise she would have been a good character if only 1-2 guys fell in love with her... but 6... Though I understand this anime is based on a game... still..)
8. Sakura (Naruto) (She was pretty annoying in Naruto (NOT SHIPPUDEN) since she's practically useless and stuff. However, her shippuden self has become one of my favorite from there since she's epic)
7. Taiwan (Hetalia) (I don't know but.. from all fanart I've seen her beating up China or crushing/obsessing on Japan.. sometimes both and it just gets annoying.. Maybe I haven't seen the 'real' her, but the way fans portray her makes me not like her)
6. Sasuke (Naruto) (He has too many fangirls and acts like a jacka$$, and ignores each and everyone of their feelings)
5. Tohru Honda (Fruits Basket) (Its just her clumsiness, the fact the boys like her, etc makes her kinda like a mary-sue.. But other wise she's... pretty..?)
4. Matsuri (Naruto) (Annoying fangirl that only says 'Gaara-sama!')
3. Karin (Naruto) (Acts like a snobby female dog, fangirls over Sasuke, and pretty much useless)
2. Takada (Death Note) (Killed Mello and her guards killed Matt... I liked Matt...)
1. Edward Cullen (....Sparkling vampires... killed the reputation of vampires... 'nough said)

(Assuming they don't have to be in order)
-Chris McClean (Total Drama series): Dude, how can you not love this guy? He's a stereotype for most reality show hosts (Infact, I think he's also a parody). He's totally insane and can make the most dangerous of situations hilarious for the audiences. Even though he's somewhat old, I love how he embarassingly tries to hide it XD
-Ellis (Left 4 Dead 2): Imagine, you're in the South, there's a zombie apocalypse, and you're in a group of of those four happens to be an adorable Southern mechanic. Even though I know he's fictional (Hey, at least I'm admitting it!), I'd totally go for him. Plus, he can keep you laughing with his stories about him and his friend Keith (Sadly, he never gets to finish them). And might I be able to say my favorite quote of Ellis? "So we gotta ride the coaster? HOLY SH!T, IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!"
-Sander Cohen (Bioshock): Oh man, this guy is a martini of class and insanity. Right away, you can tell he's crazy (Or as Atlas calls him, a "Section 8"). He makes you go hunting for his disciples, kill them, photograph them, and complete his creation. And if that ain't enough, he kills his own disciple Kyle Fitzpatrick when he defies Cohen and refuses to play "Cohen's Masterpiece" on the piano anymore. Here, listen to said piano piece: [link]
And here's when he kills Fitzpatrick: [link]
-Castiel (Supernatural): A totally naive angel. That is how I describe Cas (*SPOLIERS*Well, before he went total God on us*SPOILERS*) Plus, I LOVE his bromance with Dean :D
Just look for yourself: [link]
-America (Hetalia): Okay, it was difficult choosing WHICH Hetalia character I love, so I just went with America since...well...:icongeekoutplz:...yeah. He's completely weird, hilarious, adorable, and that part where he remembered declaring his independance just drove me to tears :iconcryforeverplz:
-Deadpool: Aw man, DEADPOOL! Who CAN'T love him? He breaks the 4th wall, he's hilarious, and babies creep him out XD
-Wallace Wells (Scott Pilgrim): Oh lord, Wallace is one of the best gay comic characters ever. He's pervy, funny, and Scott could care less if he's gay, THEY SHARE A BED![link]
-JFK (Clone High): Never in my life has a president made me laugh so much. This stereotype of JFK is just perfect, from the accent to the hair to Marilyn Monroe.[link]
-The Pyro (Team Fortress 2): [link] 'Nuff said
-TK (Angel Beats): Just like the Pyro, TK is a mystery as well. But unlike the Pyro, we know his gender. TK is just randomness, dancing, and references. He even has his own Fanclub here on dA![link] Knockin' on Heaven's Door Baby!!!

-Frank Fontaine (Bioshock): DAMN HIM DAMN HIM DAMN HIM DAMN HIM!!! Sorry, had to get that out. This guy strings you along throughout the whole game and betrays you. Even though I know you're SUPPOSED to hate him since he's a villain, I still wanna wring his little neck.
- Asami Sato (Legend of Korra): Even though she can be a BAMF at times, I hate how she just has that look on her face when she sees Korra and Mako even remotely near each other. If she knows something's up, talk to Mako, don't talk to Bolin (Who shouldn't have to be mixed into the drama, the poor boy) and don't go bottling up those feelings. I actually have a feeling Asami MIGHT betray Korra for the romance feelings and such. Plus, I know her father's a baddie, but come on! Feel a little sympathy for the guy!
-Sofia Lamb (Bioshock 2): DAMN HER DAMN HER DAMN HER DAMN HER!!! Just like Fontaine, I hate this one as well.
-Harley Quinn (Batman: Arkham City): Now don't get me wrong, I love Harley Quinn...when she was in the Animated series. In the games, she's too annoying. At least in the Animated series she actually did things, in the games, ehhh...not so much.
- Jo (Total Drama Revenge of the Island): I get that she's trying to win, but really? If I had to choose who I'd be best friends with between Jo and Heather, I'd go with Heather. At least with Heather she can bring you along to the top before offing you whereas Jo just uses you and she's done. Plus, she's a total b!tch.
-Staci (Total Drama Revenge of the Island): Oh lord, SHUT UP! Does anyone need a reason for hating her besides the fact that SHE TALKS TOO MUCH and doesn't do anything?
-Bernie Balch (Freakshow): I feel sorry for Billy, he just tried to make friends with Bernie and what happens? Everyone starts calling him a F*G and tormenting him...all because Bernie was jealous of Billy. Billy was able to be the way he was and Bernie was in the closet...
-Kikyo (InuYasha): Can't she deal with the fact that she's dead? I'm sorry to all the Kikyo fans, but I just dislike her, I hope the fans can respect that as I respect their opinions as well :)
-Zoidberg (Futurama): I don't really like him that much, meh.

I'm sure I have more disliked characters and EVEN MORE favorites, but I tried to vary it (Or else I would've included Wheatley, Ranma, Wilfred, the Professor, etc...)
LUMIY4 Featured By Owner Jul 6, 2012  Hobbyist General Artist
1. Yoda (Star Wars): Powerful, wise, tiny green Jedi Master with a strange sense of humor. I like him because he is wise enough to control his great power and despite his great age he still acts childish sometimes.
2. The Doctor (Doctor Who): Even older than Yoda, he has traveled in time and space for thousands of years, teaching humans how to live better lives. Even though he has seen and lost so much, he still finds joy in simple things. He is very complicated: he can be so kind but when what he loves is threatened, he can become a monster. He can control all of time and space, and even though he is all alone, he sticks to his morals and does good.
3. Toph Bei Fong (Avatar: the Last Airbender): While she may go to extremes, Toph believes in herself and will never give in. I think she was doing what she felt was right when she ran away, and her life got better and she saved the world. Plus, she is an amazing earth bender and funny.
4. Albus Dumbledore (Harry Potter): I like awesome plans that span many years, and he had one. He was humble and stuck to teaching even when he was offered the position of minister of magic, told the truth about Voldemort while lying or not telling everything to Harry, mysterious, and funny. And he had style.
5. Luna Lovegood (HP): She knew who she was when the other kids were fighting dark wizards and finding their identities. Even though she appears insane, she isn't bothered by the ones who tease her and to those who listen, she is straightforward and wise.
6. River Song (DW): Her backwards story is interesting and like a puzzle. She is funny and sarcastic and can make a dalek beg for its life.
7. Iroh (AtLA): He wasn't on one side or another, he was patient, and was there for Zuko when Zuko wasn't there for him. He was wise and took pleasure in simple things and wasn't above living in poverty.
8. Heimdall (Thor): While he didn't have a big part, he saw everything and did what was right when he needed to.
9. Midna (Twilight Princess): I think she is pretty well developed for a video game character. I like her because she's sarcastic while clever and thoughtful and not what she seems.
10. Marceline (Adventure Time): I don't watch adventure time much but the episodes with Marceline are my favorite because she makes things interesting and I like her voice.

Not Favorites:
1. Asami Sato (Legend of Korra): I liked her more in the beginning but at the end she didn't do a lot and was mainly there to be a love interest. I am bothered by the fact that she seemed to so suddenly hate her father. In the finale, that had a bit more context but before that it was unrealistic. However, I don't hate her. She has mad driving skillz.
2. Jabba Desilijic Tiure (SW): I dislike him more than the Emperor. He is just not a nice dude.
3. Anakin Skywalker (SW): He may be the chosen one but he was arrogant and sometimes acted like a whiny teenager. Then he turned to the dark side. Even if there was still good in him, he did horrible things. His story is a tragic one. He makes a great villain.
4. Light Yagami (Death Note): I like genius bad guys. Shallow ones are just boring. I dislike Light more than I like him, although the showdown between he and L and the fight inside himself are what makes the story interesting. There is no clear-cut good and evil. While he might have started out with "good intentions," he thought he was better than everyone else and that he was good enough to be a god. Humans cannot be gods. He was human and was beaten by humans, although it was really the gods that won.
5. Darth Sidious (SW): He was patient and evil. I appreciate the fact that he had a reason for what he did, a plan that he followed, and how he acted as someone else and manipulated people for years before acting.
I can't really think of any more individual characters that I dislike, but the ones I really can't stand are people who ruin everything without reason that I cannot loathe and respect at the same time. That kind of villain is boring, and unless the story has something else interesting, it makes for a boring story. I also don't particularly like shallow main characters. They are acceptable for shallow comedy, but I only watch that if there is absolutely nothing else to do. It might make me laugh once or twice, but brainless stories like that give me nothing to like and nothing to hate and don't make for something I would try to analyze. I need to be able to analyze a story before I can like anything, and even more to dislike something.

Top Ten Loved (in no particular order):
1: Elisa Maza (Gargoyles): It's nice to have a strong, smart female character in a show. She does need rescuing now and then, but does a lot of rescuing herself.
2: Squall Leonheart (Final Fantasy 8): Because he's EXACTLY like my boyfriend, minus the soldier training.
3: Shen (KungFu Panda 2): I know he's a bad guy and all, but he's just so cool! Love his fighting style.
4: Edward Elric (Full Metal Alchemist/ FMA Brotherhood): Because this guy never gives up. He has a sense of humor, but can also be very serious. Also, we're the same height (4' 11").
5: Blinx (Blinx, the Timesweeper): Just cause he's so awesome. XD
6: Draco (Dragonheart): Who seriously can dislike him? He gave up something precious in order to save someone who he knew didn't deserve it, hoping things to turn out for the best (they didn't).
7: Ranma (Ranma 1/2): Absolutely hilarious, also cursed.
8: Sesshoumaru: Even though I don't like children, I find his relationship with young Rin to be endearing, and it really helps him as a character grow, even if he denies it.
9: Kenshin Himura (Rurouni Kenshin): A man with a difficult and painful past, he still finds a way to smile and find love for the people around him.
10: Amaterasu (Okami): How can you not love a wolf goddess?

Top Ten Hated:
1: Sonic and Mario are tied here. These two characters are so incredibly jaded, and I really can't stand the Sonic drawing style (the ONE exception is the web comic Exterminatus Now). Seriously Nintendo, retire these guys for a few years!!
2: Micky Mouse. For the same above reasons. I know he's iconic like the other two, but there isn't anything epic about Mickey.
3: Hugh (Kate Elliott's Crown of Stars series): Okay. This guy.... Ugh, I hate him with every fiber of my being. This guy is beautiful outwardly. But inside, he's totally rotten. He's supposed to be a priest, but rapes one of the other characters and calls it love. Nobody else knows, of course. Everyone else thinks he's perfect and kind.
4: Anjihosh's mother (Kate Elliott's Crossroads series): I hate this character enough that I don't even recall her name. When she finally comes onto the scene, she ruins everything between her son, Anjihosh (Anji for short) who is a prince and Mai, who is a merchant's daughter. When Mai disappears (not of her own accord) the queen forces Anji to marry some princess to ease tension between two countries. And then when Mai returns, everything they built (they obtained land and began a settlement) was taken over by the queen, and the couple's house abandoned with all of her belongings sold off. Arrrrrgghh!
5: Kagome (InuYasha): I actually quite dislike this character. She's... just sort of annoying.
6: Race number 111 in Need for Speed Underground: While technically not a character, this race ticks me off to no end. I swear, I have literally tried to beat this race well over 100 times. I. CAN. NOT. WIN.
7: All of FLCL: Seriously, one of the most retarded shows ever.
8: Rin & Stimpy: This show used to creep me out to no end when I was little. I still hate it. Stupid humor is stupid. I also absolutely hate that eye-bulge and eye-veins thing. Gross.
9: SouthPark. A testament to how retarded American TV can be. Plus, I hate kids.
10: Napoleon (Animal Farm): He takes over everything, changes up the rules to fit his liking, and then tortures and kills his fellow animals while he lives in luxury in the humans' house and drinks whiskey.

Top 10 loved:
10: Rena (Higurashi): She is badass and has a giant cleaver/axe/knife and isn't really annoying.
9: Battler (Umineko): I dunno why. He is just awesome.
8: Simon (Durarara): Russian sushi? |D
7: South Italy/Romano (Hetalia): He does nto get enough screen time...
6: Anri (Durarara): She controls Saika, an evil sword that is in love with Shizuo. 'nuff sad.
5: Shizuo (Durarara): He can flip trucks and survive getting shot a couple times and a pen in the hand. What's not awesome about that?
4: Bernkastel (Umineko): She trolls everybody and is probably related to a Higurashi character...
3: Celty (Durarara): Basically the only completely good character in the series...and she's headless.
2: Rin (Blue Exorcist): He is awesome. 'Nuff said.
1: Either Izaya (Durarara) or Prussia (Hetalia)...both are awesome and love to piss off people (Shizuo and Austria) And the fact that they're practically the same person in terms of looks. Red eyes and messy white/black hair~

And that's all I got.
